Introduction
This two-day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat safely. It is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) and is recognised by major marine insurers and charter companies worldwide.
We focus on low-speed close-quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations. The training is conducted in a relaxed, professional environment with plenty of time for hands-on practice.
Completing this course means you will be able to handle a powerboat with confidence, whether you are pottering in the harbour, navigating a busy marina, or heading out for a day at sea with family and friends.
