Fantastic D-Day Tour
We had a brilliant two-hour D-Day tour around Southampton. The two hours were very well spent, and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the history of the area to life. The skipper was excellent too, making the whole trip both enjoyable and exciting.
Great value for money, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again or trying one of the other tours.
If you’re interested in history and want a more exciting and engaging way to see the area and learn about its role in D-Day, this is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended!

Excellent Bespoke Charter
We had a fantastic bespoke charter with Anchor Charters. We cruised around Southampton Water before heading over to Newton Creek, where we anchored up for a picnic and even enjoyed some paddleboarding.
The skipper was brilliant – friendly, professional and clearly knew the area well. The boat ran perfectly and the whole trip was relaxed, fun and tailored around exactly what we wanted to do.
Definitely recommend the team at Anchor Charters for anyone looking for a great day out on the water. We’ll certainly be back!

An incredibly moving experience. Seeing the assembly grounds of the invasion fleet while our skipper shared the history of each signal and ship was truly impactful. The RIB was comfortable and the storytelling made the Solent come alive.
