Bramble Bank Cricket Match

The Bramble Bank, also known as "The Brambles," is a sandbar shaped like an arrowhead located in the central Solent. It becomes visible during low water spring tides. At other times, it either poses a significant navigational challenge or offers a refuge from the strong Solent currents. The bank is gradually shifting westward. It is marked by the Brambles post sea mark at its southeastern edge and by the West Knoll buoy at its western edge.
